Geography
The village is located in the eastern part of Kursk region, in the forest-steppe zone, within the south-western part of the Central Russian Upland, on the left bank of the Oskol River and on the north-western bank of the Starooskolsky reservoir, at a distance of about 25 kilometers in a straight line to the south-west of the urban-type settlement of Gorshechnoe, the administrative center of the Absolute second elevation - 153 meters above sea level [2]
